My Professional Background

As a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto’s Four-Year Therapist Training Program, I am a Certified Gestalt Therapist and have maintained a full time private practice since 1999.

I hold certificates and diplomas in various other health related training programs including Psycho-Spiritual Studies, Shamanic Studies and Polarity Therapy.

In 2006 I co-founded the 400 Dupont Therapy Centre, a growing multi-disciplinary therapy centre located near Spadina and Dupont in Toronto.

I am a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists and adhere to their code of ethics.

I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapists and adhere to their code of ethics.

My Approach

My approach is to empower you to become the sure steward of your own personal growth and development. As we delve into and resolve your recurring issues you learn - for example - how to fully let go, how to make strongly supported choices, and how to recognize more clearly what you need and don't need. Truly mastering our lives, I believe, comes from advancing our proficiency with these skills.

My commitment to continual personal growth and professional development is supported through ongoing peer supervisions groups, courses and training.

To our sessions I bring my undivided attention, assurance of confidentiality and grounded experience with supporting an individual's ability to transform and embody real and lasting change.

I also have a special interest in working with emotional recovery from cancer.
